I'm 5'4" with a 27 inch inseam. I bought an Africa Twin and installed a factory lowered seat. ( saves about an inch ) . I'm only 150 pounds and adjusted preload to a softer setting ( gained approx half an inch.) Installed an adjustable lowering link which lowered bike approximately 2 inches.

The Africa Twin Adventure Sports now shares its seat height with the Africa Twin at 850-870mm (down considerably from the 900-920mm of the previous model). The tail section is slimmer and the seat itself is 40mm narrower, for easier ground reach; its shape has also been carefully contoured to allow easier back and forth movement.

After dropping bike, with a passenger, totally stopped on flat clean asphalt, I am beginning to think just maybe the Adventure Sports AT is unnecessarily tall. I am 6' 2" (32" inseam) and do fine while riding solo. I have lowered the seat and will try that a bit.
The Africa Twinâs seat has a plush feel and excellent contours. Its sides taper to provide the rider more legroom and to help touch the ground. Seat height can be set to 33.5 inches or 34.3 inches. There is also an optional low seat for short-legged riders.
Thanks, Mark. I ride a 2019 ATAS, am 5'11" with 32" inseam. I can flat foot most of the time with the optional low seat and am considering putting the original stock seat back on the bike. The 2018 and 2019 ATAS both have the same saddle height. You should probably be okay with either.

This complete lower rider seat come in same spot as original seat but lower the seat height of 6 cm. It will secure the rider when standing on the bike. It won't change the general balance of the bike.
