The newer amps 6500, 6600 are edgier, not as natural .. truncated harmonics in the top end, though a bit tighter and better controlled in the bass notes than the 660. The 90's amps have a higher damping factor than the 660 .. The 90's amps sit in the corner .. I listen to the 660 with a streamer every day ..upstairs.
